Sundays are bad here cos most of the shops and restaurants aren't open :( Upon talking to some dutch students, I found that the people here just relax at their homes or take a walk around on sundays. Some catch up with their work too. So, we were all at a loss of what to do on that day. Luckily, FC and I had stocked up on food the day before :) The bunch of us decided to go down to the Van Abbe museum on that day. I was quite reluctant cos it costs us €4 for admission as students. And we haven't gotten our student card yet. That means we could be charged the full €7! Anyway, Gigi wanted to join us too, so we made ur way, all the way down to the central station again. but this time, we had more ime to take pics along the way! look at the snow-covered car!
And we even saw this thing that slides on snow! hahha!
After taking a pic infront of Mr Phillips, we went over to KFC for lunch!

We then made our way down to the museum!

And we were in luck! cos they said that entry was free during the last 30 minutes! wooohoo! This was good cos we were not the type of people who ponder over works of art of hours, but still wanted to go into a museum and set our eyes on what was inside. the highlight of the museum was this big room that was filled with cartoons. There are too many pics to put here, so i shall put up some:

And we took a few pics outside the museum too!

And then, we had a drink for dinner with the other students at a lovely restaurant!

And FC, Gigi and I decided to take a bus on our way back, to try out the strippen kaarts! that's what they call the bus tickets. Park, our Korean friend who lived on the same street decided to walk back instead. He was nice to show us to a bus stop where we can take the bus though :)
And I couldn't stop taking pics of the view of the moon from my room above the snow-covered roof-tops:

That's all for the first sunday!
