105 spotted!! HAHA! Time to follow it!
Another SBS bus waiting at a bus stop:
Ion Orchard, strting to take shape and look!
The typical orchard street
Finally, getting out of Orchard, here is SDU:
With a iPhone poster at a telephone booth near by!
The junction at Raffles Town Club:
I should have turned left at the above junction. Instead, i went on, realising that it lead me to a Expressway where pedestrians were not allowed :( See? no more footpath for my feet!
Oh wells, turning back, i came to this:
Dunearn Road! I Followed it until the Junction at Serene Centre! Spot the Serene centre below!
Haha, the turn put me in Adam Road:
At this point in time, it was already 6:24 AM. So, i increased the frequecny of my shots in order for me to capture the changing colors during sunrise.
The velvet sky, with the star shining for meee!
And.. i came to this spot leading to a flyover where there were roads leading out to PIE:
Above: Notice the swooosh effect at the right!
Swoosh effect again, below!
The traffic picking up in the morning!
There were there part, 50m long, before and after the flyover which did not have footpath.
The other side of the flyover was close to Macritchie!! Yipeee!!!
walk! walk! walk!
Above is some country club
Coming to Macrtchie reminded me of the cross country run in NYJC, Year 2. I remember the path very well. and so, i decided to depart from the main road into this:
That was an alternative way to get to the ‘front’ of macritchie. It was quite dark, but the sun was rising. A photo with flash, below:
Above: Without flash, but exposure and ISO to the max
It was 6:51 am when i took this:
(with flash)
Well, the park opens at 9, but who cares!
Some more natural shots, without flash, with max exposure and ISO:
I think the one right, above could have flash :P
View of canopy!
The ‘light’ at the end of the tunnel
And at the ‘end of the tunnel’, i stood stunned at a superb view of a reservoir. It was not just the reservoir, but there was this mist that was above the surface of the water, floating further in. I HAD to take a video of that! So here are the shots and video: Do note the mist!
[mist video here]
And there was this turtle who was fascinated by me! haha! It kept following me!
[Turtle video here]
Below is another place with great scenery! Again, manual mode; Intelligent mode wasn’t good on this one.
And here was where i took another one of my *peace* shots! I looovee this one!
Another ‘light at the end of the tunnel’
Walk with me!
[walking video]
And here are the shots of sun’s rays as it hits the leaves:
Out onto the front of Macritchie!
HAHA, I officially gave up here, my feet were too painful for me to carry on. Also, i looked terrible; like a prisoner from an iraqi prison. So i decided to just bring myself to a 156 busstop by Mount Alvernia hospital nearby to go back to campus :)
Here ends Homegoing 1.
