Shutterfly

A lot of picture-uploading services like flickr and photobucket have restrictions on the amount of pics you can upload. I recently found out that shutterfly doesn’t have any restrictions! In other words, you can upload as MANY pictures as you want!! haha, well, I' just signed up for an account and i’ve been keeping my eyes wide open for any catch. And yes, you know how wide my eyes can get :)

Which was good, cos i’ve managed to find a catch. Here: Although you can upload tons of pis to shutterfly, it does not allow you to download them, exactly as you’ve uploaded them. Yes, a download option is available once you’ve enabled and made up your share site, but do be prepared for your 1.15MB file to appear as a 373KB file, looking about the same till of course, you zoom in =)

Upon further research, here’s what i’ve found in their FAQ section:

Q: Can I download my pictures from Shutterfly?
A: Currently, we do not have high-resolution downloading available. However, we do have an Archive DVD service, in which you can order a DVD with high-resolution copies of your pictures.

Oh, and i need to add. The uploading of pics is a lot faster than other services i’ve tried.
