can't believe it.. i went to sleep yesterday with my lights on... haha.. my lazy laptop went to sleep!

It's thursday! haha.. one more day to go to the end of the week. Miraculusly, there's no presentation this week:) It's all after Chinese New Year. But we'll have to pass up a term paper after chinese new year too. Well, there goes my holidays...

Results of my i-pod battery test: the last time i charged it was on the night of 15th Jan. So, it has lasted for 12 days... not bad :) that's like, more than 24 hours on one charge!

did i say that i went tot he usp film series last friday, week 1? well, this week, i was really wishing that it'ld be every week, but nah.. i was wrong. It's kinda on random but pre-assigned weeks only :( anw, here's a clip from the movie i watched: do note that it contains 'mildly' offensive language and actions ...haha...

ahh!! sunfire is down again :( but this time, it was worse! i couldn't even access the NUS homepage for about 30mins or so in the afternoon... Some maintainance thingy, i guess. But ya.. as i expected, sunfire still isn't up. And luckily, i managed to finish my lab with Dev c++. but i still need sunfire to pass it up...so have to wait till monday.

And i went to gym this week, with qh!! haha.. but we concluded that the gym was really crowded and that it really needed more treadmills. Well, there were 2, but one wasn't working, so we went down to the track. but i was glad, since i saw that spoilt one was finally getting repaired by a technician :) haha.. my first time running in NUS track! so cool :) And i'm even gladder that none of our belongings got stolen. Well, next time, i'm gonna leave my stuff @ chatterbox and just comedown with a plasticbag of my soap n clothes.

After tt,i went back to chatterbox and then back home. Oh ya.. i bumped into fly on my way to the bus terminal! haha.. one of my friends with whom i didn't really keep in touch with. And a proof that the world Singapore is a small place ;)

Just downloaded my maths tutorial... haha.. have to keep working on my readings.
Actually, i've to blog abt this sunfire thing:
It keeps shutting down!! haha... i just added some major changes to my differential equation program on sunfire and now.. i've to wait for it to come alive again... oh dear. Well, maybe it'll be more active when the labs actually start. And also, it's a good lesson for me. I'm just gonna work with Dev c++ for now and get to sunfire when i'm sure i'ld finish up my program in one shot.

It's tuesday.. and my lessons have all ended... time to work on readings n tutorials..

This week.. well, it started off with me aiming to go to school at 8:00 to buy textbooks, keep things in my locker and to borrow some readings from the central lib. But, i ended up reaching school at about 8:25+:( After i finished my locker business, i found out that the bookstore only opens at 9. hoW? my lesson starts at 9. Well, what really bothered me is that i'll not be having any breaks from 9am till 4pm. Well, you may argue that it was the first day and that there won't be any tutorial. but they're all lectures, can? haha.. how cool can a first day get?

well, that's 7hrs of continuos stuff(lectures). my fridays are worse. 8hrs of stuff, from 10am till 6pm!



Another thing to note on my new timetale is that the usp lessons aren't as spread out as they were in the previus sem. I've 2 usp-free days, wednesdays and thursdays=D

i'm beginning to think that not getting USS is kinda good after all... that module can put me down for one entire year! haha...

oh no... i didn't get my USS module!! gosh u've GOT TO listen to this: Till round 3A, this module has been going off for 1 point and now, during round 3A, when i can finally bid for this module, i put in all the general account point i've got: yup.. all 408 points. And guess what: I was outbidded!! poor me!! haha.. the lowest successive bid was 548 points :( well, i'll have to fall back on my back up plan: to get myself UNL2204: The Birth, Life & Death of Stars. Well, a science module (i wanted to do arts USP modules this sem...) AND quite a heavy one(we are expected to pass up our first essay assignment by the end of next WEEK.)...
oh well.. the other usp module is not too heavenly - We just had our intro lecture today and i just got an e-mail saying that we need to form groups of 4-5 and work on some stuff assigned to us-(read on::-->AND do a presentation THIS COMING FRIDAY! yes, 18th January.
gosh.. Welcome to Sem 2, everyone! yes. even if u are in NTU/SMU :)

This week has been what i call a 'perfect' week,in terms of the amount of exercise i got... Look at it: On monday, i did a run-all-you-can-in-30-mins at the gym (And bathed even though i hadn't brought my towel...haha..). Then, on after some rest, i went to Pulau Ubin with qh n friends to cycle :)haha... Think the last time i went down was during my council camp, with 6 X 1.5 litre water bottles fully filled. But the last time i went there to cycle was during my secondary school days. This time, it was super fun to speed down the down slopes! yup.. simply amazing to reach those crazy speeds without pedalling :) I had a lecture on evening that day and i still can't believe i made it into the LT early!haha... Then yesterday, friday, i went to gym with Pradeep. yup.. another run-all-you-can-in-30-mins. This time, i managed to run 6.26km.. still below the dist i managed to run i my jc.. 6.5km..
School starts on Mon! =)

boo.... i can't take any SARTOR usp modules this sem:(
oh well... i'll just have to settle for a cheap and good module(s).

my bridging course just started :( but i've good news! this time, i'm gonna try and get a good grip on all my modules from the start itself. And the other good news is that i'll be having 2 seniors from ny27sc taking this c++ module with me :)
But i'm going to have to come down to school on weekdays, for lectures, 630 to 830 PM!! till the sem starts. And when it starts, my timetable isn't gonna look good either.. But i shall stay positive:) It's the start of a beautiful semester and nothing can bring me down! (nope..not even the grass -cutter who started making noise a few seconds ago...)

And oh ya.. u'll all have to wait if u wanna see the pics i took during my india trip.. i haven't even upload them into my comp yet.. haha...
